Fremmasmind -- The point I was making in that phone call is that a reporter can't just express an opinion -- "construction workers are illegal immigrants" -- he or she has to substantiate a newsworthy point with facts. And that's all I was saying to you. However, months later, after spending months documenting what the situation has been in construction in LV, I wrote a long story on that very point. It appears you missed that story.

you can tell this list was done by a U.S. reporter, or the list would have had a couple of soccer games on it. "Top 10 all-time bad weather games in US history" is a better headline...

Two questions, Rob -- what's a "combine"?
Also, is Cruz the first UNLV soccer player to go to the MLS this way? How many have gone total? This seems like big news for Las Vegas, no?
