One thing you have to realize is that things in Alaska are expensive. Because everything, especially fresh food has to be shipped up and then trucked in.
The Palin's don't have alot.
The real story here is that unlike the other candidates, who are all millionaires, Palin did not have good enough clothes for this campaign.
