another trip for byu? i guess this shows what kind of AD sheila would make, huh? boring... another year i wont go to the MAACO byu bowl. they should rename it to that. maaco and LDS church can be the co-sponsor.
best team that money can buy. you should be happy that your money purchased a state title. maybe gorman should go the way of Henderson Prep Academy. They have more in common with them than any public school.
Sanford can point the finger at everything that UNLV does, but when he came into this situation, he said he could build a winner. He failed.
The players played the Oregon St.s and Arizona St.'s and won some and lost some. But the reality is if he was a good coach, we would've gone to a bowl game last year and this year. Last year, 5 teams came and scored on the last drive of the game. They did it some again this year. A good coach wins the last drive of a game. He failed. He can blame the facilities but when he had the butts in the stadium, he choked.
there isn't any reason why both football and basketball can be good at UNLV. The MWC is a good western conference. The job TCU, Utah, and BYU have been doing is do-able here. The difference is that those programs started with DEFENSE. Find a good Def Coordinator from the SEC and build around him. I am looking forward to seeing UNLV in bowl games. Go REBELS!
