$227,000 in yearly compensation? 53 consecutive days off? This is insanity.

Getting one of these jobs is like winning the lottery for life, every penny of it on the taxpayers' back.

We have to stop this fiscal malfeasance or our children will spend their adult lives paying for this and our state will never recover economically.

Or you might drive through many American inner cities 50 years after the so-called "Great Society" destroyed millions of Black American families. Crime, drugs, over a 75% illegitimacy rate. That's what liberals call "help".

Fifty years ago, poor people were poor, but decent, hard working and respectable Fifty years of handouts later and poor people are without ambition or a sense of self-determination. We have families in which no member has held a job for three generations.

The typical American defined as poor by the government has a car, air conditioning, a refrigerator a stove, a clothes washer and dryer, and a microwave. He had two color televisions, cable or satellite TV reception, a VCR or DVD player, and a stereo. He is able to obtain medical care. His home is in good repair and is not overcrowded. By his own report, his family was not hungry and he had sufficient funds in the past year to meet his family's essential needs. While this individual's life is not opulent, it is equally far from the popular images of dire poverty conveyed by the press, liberal activists, and politicians.

The Democrats in Congress, led by Nevada's own Harry Reid, passed Obamacare which is a massive new entitlement that we cannot afford.

Hiding spending is not the same as reducing spending.

I love this country and I know we are broke. And sensible people stop spending when they run out of money.

Mr. Obama is currently borrowing 41 cents of every dollar he is spending. That is beyond fiscal irresponsibility, that is insanity.

I would not vote for another Democrat if his name were Ronald Reagan. No more Democrats! (They have controlled Congress, i.e. spending, for 40 of the last 50 years, and look at us.)

God help this family. They have the misfortune to be white. Under law, Mr. Brower must be last in line for any job that any person of any other ethnicity applies for. It is the law.

Harry Reid and the other Democrats made it the law. I am not referring to Black Americans. I am referring to anyone who is non-white. If you are from India, Mexico, Thailand, the Philippines, anywhere at all, you have priority for jobs and for college admissions.

While the rest of us go to work and trust our Congress to serve and protect us, they have been destroying this country and the people in it.

Yesterday, Reid was out telling his progressive (aka Marxist) supporters that, never fear, Obamacare will have a "public option", i.e. the same failed socialist system that is bankrupting country's all over Europe.

And I will never forget how Harry Reid stood up there, looked us straight in the eye, and lied right to our faces. Yeah, Harry, you were standing "shoulder to shoulder" with Americans as you rammed through the Frankenstein cobbled together hugely opposed by us, trillion+ dollar unread monstrosity, Obamacare, that will adversely affect all Americans (except for you and your other elitist multimillionaire pals).

Despite all the money that Reid has used to smear Angle, the reality is that Sharon Angle has more common sense than the leftist, Harry Reid will ever have. She will not allow our tax dollars to be used to fight Arizona's sensible and long overdue immigration law. She would never have voted for the catastrophic bankrupting Obamacare. And she will defend our borders and our jobs. And not allow Obama to hand our money and our jobs to illegal aliens.

No more of these dishonest elitist politicians. I am so fed up with Nancy Pelosi and her $27,000 an hour jet, every last cent of it paid for with our tax dollars. And Reid with his insulting "I'm standing shoulder to shoulder with the American people" as justification for forcing through the despised Obamacare that will destroy our medical care and that he knew full well we strongly opposed.

I hate him. I would vote for anyone but him.

Every day more anti-business policies pour out of Washington. And Obama and his team criticize Arizona's Immigration Law. Meanwhile Obama herald's his program to loan money to small business. No responsible business owner borrows money when business is bad. To do so would be both irresponsible and simply a bad business decision. What we need is less regulation and less interference from monster sized government agencies that make doing business almost impossible. If you have ever dealt with OSHA or EPA you know this. Every agency that was meant to improve America ends up crippling America. And soon Obamacare will require business to file millions more forms and comply with confusing and conflicting legislation. If you think any of this is free to the consumer or employee you are wrong. The only people to benefit from all of this are the leaders (who just stuff money into their own pockets and those of their friends and supporters) and government employees, many of whom make in excess of 6 figures and enjoy retirement benefits that the rest of us can only dream about.

Nothing has ever offended me as much as Harry Reid's statement that he was "standing shoulder to shoulder with the American people" in supporting health care reform. He knew that Americans opposed the terrible bill, he knew that Nevadans strongly oppose the bill, and yet he stood there and looked us in the eye and lied to us. I just can't stand that. Show this awful man the door in November. We deserve better.

I don't know about Reid but I am extremely troubled about the news that the Federal Elections Commission continues to put off its investigation into the 200 MILLION DOLLARS in what are highly suspicious and apparently illegal foreign contributions. The money came in the form of thousands of small contributions from overseas which were paid for with MasterCard and Visa gift cards that were bought with cash in countries in the middles east.

Obama is a huge favorite of George Soros (the billionaire who despises freedom and democracy and has worked hard to destabilize our government and who founded and funded moveon.org which he used to help knock Hillary out of the primaries). And Obama got into Harvard Law with the help of the billionaire Saudi Prince who funded the Black Panthers in his attempt to destabilize America. Two hundred million isn't much if you have many billions of dollars).

Especially given the unprecedented international peril in which the west finds itself today, I don't want some hostile foreign contributor choosing our next President (and having a great and beholden friend in our White House).

I am always pleased to see a high turnout of interested and well informed voters. If only that were the case in this election.

I am a college science professor who after listening to my students' excitement about Obama for most of the semester, finally gave them a test. Page 1 included a question about who they favored for the presidency and questions requiring a rating of various characteristics from one to ten. Pages 2 and 3 asked softball fill in the blank questions about their candidate's accomplishments and positions on various issues.

Needless to say, almost all of the students chose Obama, and gave him ratings of 10 in all of the categories on page 1. But pages 2 and 3 were left entirely blank by every student in the class except one, who chose John McCain and actually knew several facts about McCain's positions on issues.

Put this together with the one million illegal votes that ACORN is expected to deliver nationwide for Obama and God save America on November 4th.

And frankly, watching these massive rallies with hysterical attendees and listening to Obama's vague and shifting promises of Utopia (especially when contrasted with his true character) is reminiscent of a modern day pied piper and most certainly a wolf in sheep's clothing.
