Chapter 11 means they are staying in business and getting protection from their lenders.

The lenders may get a piece of ownership in exchange for reducing interest rates and extending the life of the loans.

They are already marketing to locals. Perhaps, you have been throwing away the marketing letters and postcards that they send to you.

Most likely housing prices have bottom out and will start to climb a little.

I guess people can not read.

Every child will get a vaccine.

The story says if your child has private health insurance then your health insurance will pay for the vaccines.

If the your child does not have private health insurance then the state will pay for the vaccines.

It makes sense that if private health insurance will cover the cost then the taxpayers should not fork out the cash.

"Does anyone really believe OPEC and other oil-producing nations really want us to drill for more oil here? The answer is no!"

That is correct that other oil producing nations do not want the USA to drill for its own oil.

Yes, we have lots of black gold and Reid, Obama and the Democrats have locked it down for years and continue to do so.

Elko County Assessor Joe Aguierre accuses himself of inappropriate behavior.

He should turn himself him into the DA and ask to be indicted.

One of the reason why the drop in school enrollment is the crack down on illegal crossings at the border.

The flood of illegas were overwhelming our schools with out of control growth.

This is a fair article supported by sources.

I wondered where the copy of the cancel checks came from.

If the divorce war continues then Gibbons should decide if he wants to be governor or fight a divorce war with his soon to be ex-wife.

I think this tax exemption story is a lot about nothing. Gibbons as a private citizen has the right to apply for a tax exemption. He has the right to get legal counsel. There is no law that says that a tax commissioner can not be provide the services of legal counsel. He presented evidence to get the exemption. The tax assesor had the choice to decline or accept the evidence. He choose not to challenge the evidence.

There is no proof that the evidence is fraud. There is only speculation.

Now, the assesor is complaining that he should have challenged the evidence. According to the assesor own words, he did not do his job. He should consider to resign if he can not do his job.

Also, according to the assesor the tax exemption has to be applied for and approved each year. Perhaps, in this next tax year if Gibbons applies then the assesor will finally do his job.

" it would be 15 years before any of that got in anyone's gas tank."

This is a broken record that gets played every 5 to 10 years.

Reid, Obama and Democrats have put their foot down on drilling for years and now we are paying the price.

"The price of gas at the pump in Norway is $9.86 a gallon, yet the Norwegian economy is booming."

uddeboda, thank you for supporting new oil and gas drilling.

I agree with you that we should follow Norway's path.

They have all this black gold and they do not have Reid or Obama blockheads that do not want to drill for it.

Thanks for the support.

"Norway's oil industry is the world's third largest ranking "oil exporter and the seventh largest oil producer. In 2003, Norway was the world's third largest gas exporter and the eighth largest gas producer"
