"CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN"
Is anyone else worried about the worshipful religious following of Obama? He talks more real, inspirational, and gracefully then any leader since the 1960's.
I think it's great and maybe he is for real.
BUT AMERICA= REALITY CHECK PLEASE
Obama is a sincerly needed social movement, not a pragmatic get it done war time president. If america is more impressed by narcisistic charm and charmisma then hard work and pragmatism (Hillary) then we deserve what we get.
OBAMA= CARTER PART 2
VOTE HILLARY 2008

I just don't understand the personal bashing of candidates, especially Hillary. I didn't care for Ronald Regan, but I can understand why others do. Mitt Romney is not my candidate but I can see how some would fully support him.
Can you please tell me why there is such a profound derogatory distrustful and hateful judgement of Hillary Clinton, based on....... feelings, old controversy, her husband, not leaving him, what?
Whether she is your candidate or not, do you know she was considered one of the HARDEST WORKING freshman senators? Doesn't going from First Lady to the senate and keeping your head down, learning, and working your heart out give cause for at least one positive comment?
Do people in America hate Hillary in part because she is a woman in politics like we have never seen before? Do those of us that love or hate her really think we understand who she is? She's just a person, please find some respect in your hearts.
Obama as Vice president or Secretary of state 2008 then President next round.
Hillary 2008
If we could merge Obama's appeal/message and Hillary's experience/pragmatism, we would have a slice of heaven. Given we are at war, pragmatism is far more important to me. I don't think a top priority should be changing the tone and bringing people together, there is just far to much work to be done right now.
For those of you with a bad taste in your mouth about Hillary's past, I ask you to examine her record. Please do not let years of media messages define your opinion. Do some research.

Janie,
Thank you for an excellent article. I never understand why people do not pay attention to Hillary's behavior over the years (instead of hair or scandals). She is a quinticental wasp hardworking american. Hillary won my vote her first year as a senator. Instead of riding the coat tails of her role as first lady, she put her head down, kept her mouth shut, and was considered one of the "hardest working freshman senators" that year. She has a 60% approval rating in New York and rural conservatives are big supporters because of her moderate pragmatism. Right wing republicans were in media and new print discussing how she had earned their respect through her intelligence and hard work. They were clearly impressed and taken aback by her quiet substance.
I hope Obama is for real, I just doubt it. Can you imagine the arrogance to run for president during a war with his experience. Makes me think his charm is the biggest tool in his belt, and he has bet America's future on it.
Realism is where life and politics really happens, thanks for your article. Even if people vote for other candidates, I hope it gets some readers to reconsider their interest in Obama.
