The Sun
Locally owned and independent for more than 50 years.

By 5pm Monday Management held meeting with employee's of its "2 Southern Nevada" properties informing them of the Bankruptcy before it became public. Telling everyone NOT to discuss it with anyone because its business as usual. You'd still get your raises and promotions etc.etc. But "We may have to cut people back to 4 days !" Well thats not business as usual and if an empolyee is cut back to less then 32 hrs a week they'll cancel thier insurance without notice! All the properties are in dire need of repairs, light blubs need replaced in the parking lots, much needed bug spray to get rid of the ants and other Larger Bugs in the Casinos, restraunts,& restrooms etc. Sercurity is a joke! Use to have about 30 officers at just one properties during the "River Run" rarely having to call Metro. This year They only had maybe 10 security guards an had to have Metro and Highway Patrol on property constantly. So their Business as usual is the worst joke for all those poor souls who work for this Slave labor company
