Screw the IRS, if Obama and the other tax cheats who are government employee's get away with not paying taxes and don't pay interest, fines, and penalties then we should get the same treatment.

If we as Americans stopped paying taxes that would send a message to DC and tell them to fire the tax cheats in DC, live by the same rules we do then we'll pay taxes. Until then, screw you just as you're screwing us.

The plans are drawn up personal who've never worked in the trade they're designing, they've gone to school and have a degree in field being designed and the specifications prescribe the nature, character, and quality of the work being contracted.

If the Owner truly wants to reduce construction costs and project schedules they would remove the Architect and Engineer from the equation and bid design build projects only. The owner and we the taxpayer would realize instant savings and the quality of the work would far exceed the practices used since 1994.

If you have any doubt about Architects and Engineers look at Sunset Eastern Park project that is presently under construction. The Architect or Engineer used sole source materials and designed a project where costs were no concern. Asphalt trail they designed in the dunes required the asphalt to contain a specific color by a sole source manufacture; the colored asphalt is $8,000.00 a ton for 70 ton of mix installed verses asphalt with no color that costs $100.00 a ton for the same mix with no color. As an alternative to their design other products were available to would've provided the end intent wanted.

From a person who has worked in this industry for 40 plus years, the only thing that has changed over the years is that public agencies have an open check book and we in the industry know just that. We manage the contract and let the designer of record open their mouth and spend your money. Those who don't manage the contract, go broke. NDOT is starting to figure this one out and they are bidding design build projects, it is cheaper and the quality of the work far exceeds any design if they designed and bid the project. See I-15 NLV and now I-15 from Blue Diamond to Tropicana, we the taxpayer are the winners now, not the owner's design team.

Knowing LVP / Apco they didn't lose a penny, they're good at what they do and do it well, they managed the contract and owner's team took it personally when in reality they should've listened to the contractor in the first place and mitigated the costs, not litigate for personal reasons.

The Democrats will attempt to push any healthcare bill regardless of what the bill contains. Based on the election results yesterday they are now faced with being removed come 2010 and they know this is their last chance to screw America over.

Even if they do get it passed and signed into law the bill will be challenged in court and will never become law and if it does pass the legal challenges, a new bill will passed eliminating what Obama and clan did.

I will say one thing, I honestly don't believe Obama will get through 2010, he will be impeached or he'll resign from office. He has done nothing for America as a whole, just a select few. American's for the most part won't tolerate his arrogance and stupidity much longer, he was voted into office and he continues to use the same old democrat excuse, it's not my fault, somebody else did it, I inherited these problems, etc" etc" etc..

What the Democrats fail to realize we don't care what Bush left you; you took the job; now do it. Obama knew what he was in for and he told America he would be open, not succumb to K Street and provide cameras and live viewing for all of America to see, he lied again.

Prostitutes definitely do not deserve the bad sort of press they do. They definitely don't need the stereotype of the rough looking, coarse tongued sluts we see in movies. There are many so called 'respectable' married women who would equally fit such a description.

Prostitutes are no different to any other worker. They can be of either sex; they are providing a service and working hard for their money. It is not a job I would like to do...but then each to their own. However if I were a female and my family were hungry and alternative employment was not available then I would. Think on. A Nurse in Nevada can expect a salary of $2,500.00 to $4,000.00 monthly; a prostitute can earn that in a day.

Prostitutes have children, boyfriends, husbands and families to support. They have bills to pay, food to buy, movies to see, houses to build, schools to pay, clothes to buy. Yes, exactly like you and me.

And no, they don't sit around in sleazy disarray talking about disgusting things. They are people, just like you and I.

They are religious too and pray before they go to work and when they come back.

Prostitution hides behind a variety of names. Escort, Bar Girl, Masseuse, Go Go Dancer, Hostess, Entertainer. Of course many of them are just that and no more but there are prostitutes among them.

To them prostitution is 'work'. That's how they talk of it. "I have a customer, I am going to work".

From my point of view, neither party is doing anything to create jobs nor with our current economic times and knowing that Obama won't going to create any jobs in the USA, it about time Clark County steps up to the plate and do whatever it takes to generate positive cash flow, they need to legalize prostitution. Many families who are facing poverty or poverty is knocking at their door now have a viable option to generate a good income for their family and not have to rely on the government or break the law to survive.
