Hello God here is the Godess! I am now ordering you not to ever grow old so you will not become a senior in need of anyone or assistance from medicare! That you will forever be a smelly rich person always able to afford everything you need; and
may you live for ever rejoycing in your youth!
Your mama the Godess.
I agree with Zeddy Bear! Just do the math, in five years only 10 of the original 63, but how many in between have been lost. Also remember we are paying one quater of million dollars plus housing and car allownces ($250,000.00 + $ 23,000)for a President of a College, plus slaries for 4 Deans, one Provost (also in the hundreds of dollars), etc... Just do the math how much is costing us to graduate the miger number students they are producing or not..
Please we must understand, these poor nuckel-dragging neanderthals (Gibbons, Beers, and the likes) continue living with their heads burried in the sand suffering from a wreck in their one-track minds. There is so much damage in their brains they are incapable of understanding the difference and impact of a diversified economy, when compare to Nevada's obsolete centuries old economny dependant on unstable sources of revenue, gambling and turism. Folks this approach from the old wild west is not longer viable. We are in the 21st century, human capital, creation of new knowledge, and advancing high technology industries is driving this global economy. Wake up and fix your brains! Or get your little atrophied heads out of the sand (the kitchen as well). Maybe all the sleepless nights spent text messaging, holding his girlfriend's hand in the delivery room, and consoling her in darken parking lots have truly injured our poor, poor governator. Maybe for his own good we out to help get out of this painful state and counsel him to resign... All for his own good, we care about his well bing,
Smoking in public places, in this case the casinos, affects not only the areas in the taverns or gambling areas but also the food courts and the movie theates as well. I am alergic to second hand cigarette smoke and I do not to go to casinos to eat or any other establishment where I am expose to these dangerous fumes. However, the freedoms granted to smokers takes away my freedom to attend a movie theater because after two hours of sitting in the dark enclosed theater auditorium gives me headaches and irritated eyes. For example, I do not go to most theaters that are inside a casino, but resently the Fiesta inside the Santa Fe open the new theater section and it seemed to be clean from cigarette fumes for the first month or so. Just last week I detected the spraying of air freshner during the first few minutes of the previews, I do not know who was sprying or if there is an authomatic air freshner unit installed inside the theater. The purpose seemed to had been covering second hand cigarette fumes that travel throughtout the large enclosed complexes. The sprying only lasted the first fifteen minutes because soon I was very aware of the cigarette fumes and my eyes were itching and I left with an alergic reaction. This big complexes seem to be dependent on ventilation systems that do not eliminate the hamful effects of second smoke and the lingering fumes. There are many of us that choose not to smoke who end at the mercy of those that choose to harm themeselves. Now, I am not sure whether to go back again to watch a movie at the Regal Fiesta Cinnema again.
Yes, we do have choices, at the same time we all live in community. Cigarette smoking is an irresponsible and a very inconsiderate act of selfish individuals. Proctecting their civil freedoms to smoke denies many of us that choose not to smoke our civil freedoms as well.
We could save a great deal of money by cutting all those Blackberries floting around in all state agencies and our NSHE campuses. Even our hardest hit instituions of higher learning like NSC are still paying for a bunch of Blackberries and service a freeby to staff and faculty. Can someone investigate how much money is costing us for all these free talking?
It is time for this man to go! Can we Nevadans aford to keep an incompetent, pompous, self-engradizing men in power while the state goes to ruins?
Just asking, look at what has happened to our county's economy under the watch of a similar character now in the White House. We are actually letting them ruin and run our lifes to the ground while we passively watch. Once again it is time for this man to go!

As a parent and tax payer facing the responsibilities that obviously come with rising two boys and providing for the ever increasing-cost of postsecundary education, I must ask these six-figure earning tenured professor of English to stop waisting her time. YES, waisting time on gossip, innuendo, harmful threats, and promoting hate in an enviroment that should be prepared for learning. I want my children to be critical thinkers, I have risen them to be socially responsible citizens and I do not mind paying higher taxes to make sure our educational instituions and those that labor in them are capable of thinking critically. Yet laboring intensely to make those institutions honest and trutful environments does not include in my estimation falsehood and defamation of peoples integrity. What I read this morning in this blog so proudly embraced by Ms Rosenthal makes me sick to my stomach. It is full of, yes, gossip, malfeasen, trechery, and defamation of character. Jocking about someones integrity without facts and evidence is not becoming to the character of a six-figure earning tenured professor, and is neither uplifting or truth promoting. She is a co-authored to every ill comment posted in her blog by ill informed and unscrupolous individuals. She should be legaly challenged and held accountable by the individuals whose reputations have been damaged by her irresponsible and ill informed confrontation of an andministration she happens to disagree with. We are indeed seeing the decline of higher education in our country.
