4% doesn't sound so bad after last I heard he was seeking 11% cut. I can definitely live with this. I just hope this is the last time we hear about paycuts!
I have been teaching in the CCSD for almost 11 years and I have no problem taking a 6% paycut if it will help others keep their jobs. Unpaid holidays? We don't get paid for holidays or any time we use outside of our contractual day. Our contract is for 184 days. I may be in the minority, but I am happy with my pay. I have put in my time, worked hard and furthered my education to get at the salary I am at; just like in many other careers. However; shouldn't all Nevadans make sacrifices for the budget. Why is it just stateworkers?
11% paycut!!! I am all for a salary freeze even though I am still paying back tuition that I had for taking more classes to increase my salary. 6% was bad enough!
As the wife of one of his victims who is not suing him, he will be punished one way or another.
Get a clue Norma.
Dr. B= Dr. Death
The innocent do not run and hide. If you knew ANY addicts, you would know they lose control and Dr. B. CHOSE to continue feeding their addictions. My husband was one of his victims. Was my husband at fault. OF COURSE! But the dr. who takes a health to heal and then just feeds a person's addiction is responsible as well. You want Northsider to get over his daughter's untimely death. It is clear you never lost a child or spouse at the hands of someone else.
It is about time. How could this possibly called a witch hunt! My husband was a patient of Dr. B and that dr. gave him anything he wanted. Sure my husband was an addict, but Dr. B. was basically signing his death certificate before he stopped seeing him. My husband was not doctor shopping; he went to one doctor. Sadly, my husband died from something unrelated to Dr. B. but I wish he was around to read this article.
Dr. B. is nothing but a drug dealer in a white coat. He needs to be stopped.
