Its Lake Mead Parkway, not Blvd!!

Michael Mayberry was a good, honest Police Chief with a great sense of humor who treated the people around him with respect. We could use a man like him at City Hall.

City Finance Director Steve Hanson has done a fine job for the City of Henderson for many years. The city government is lucky to have him. When other government entities were "gambling" with risky investments, Mr. Hanson's investments, though regarded by some as "too conservative" didn't lose a penny of the taxpayer's money.

It's amazing how often this kind of accident happens. People need to slow down...

"Henderson has seen reductions in nearly every type of crime, she said, but she cautioned that the city risks losing the gains if a population increase drives that ratio back down".

Henderson is one of the safest places to live in Nevada because of the quality of our police officers. However, now is not the time to ask for a tax increase to increase the number of officers on the street as the population growth is nothing like it was over the last 20 years.
