I love how anyone who has problems with what Officer Seekatz did and thinks there has been a crime committed is labeled as a left wing cop basher. What utter crap! I have lived in Las Vegas for over 50 years and seen this go on time after time with no consequences for the cops involved. This time wont make any difference when you see the attitude of the people who are suppose to be in charge. Jerry you need to be kicked in the head a few times by your buddies the cops!
I've lived in Las Vegas for over fifty years and am the son of a highly commended LVFD Captain. my family knew many, many Metro Officers as I grew up. Some were OK a lot were not and my own experiences with them over the years have not endeared them to me at all. I have seen corruption, laziness, arrogance, abuse of power and a disregard for rights by them. In fifty years I've never seen them have an unjustified shooting or police killing of suspect. This latest abuse of power does not surprise me, but I think every concerned citizen in the valley who is fed up with this abuse should call out Christopher Jones on it and let him know we're tired of it.
What strikes me as being wrong is the whole consulting industry that has sprung up. People making large sums guiding you through the process of getting a license. It should be an easy transparent process between a Doctor, patient and the state without the underground grey people inserted in the mix. Grow your own? How are you to do that when seeds are illegal, and not everyone has a green thumb. The Law is illogical and not thought out very well. It again shows how ignorant our legislators are.As to the letter that Metro Officer wrote to the Landlord, that was beyond the pale and criminally evil. Gillespie and his crowd have got to GO!
When I hear some one on this page say that liberals offer no solutions I am surprised and saddened by how many blind fools there are in this state. All I hear is hate from the right, that and lies. I am a Navy vet, 55 years old, well read and educated and have lived in this state since 57'. I know Reid is a crook and I don't always agree with him but the alternative to him is a very foolish religious wackjob. So let's be sensible.
Rabmag you are one of the trolls out there.
Bill also cooperated fully with the Police, gave them full use of his property with permission to search as they pleased. He took a polygraph test and passed completely. The shed is out away from the house at edge of a large natural desert garden. He did report a smell and he is not senile. Again the police failed him and the Valley.
Bill did report a smell a week after the disappearance and the cops said no a "decomposing body had a distinct smell and this was not the same". Billy Jean was a hoarder and kept stuff like boxes of clothes in a shed that was stuffed full. I fault the cops for not doing a complete search. they probably just opened the door, saw all the boxes and clutter and made assumptions. The young girl was a friend of the family and a personal favorite of Billy Jean trying to cheer up a heartbroken and distraught man who was in limbo and hell. Bill James is one of the finest human beings I have ever known and his wife was the same with a huge heart that gave out on her. No crime here except incompetence by the Police. The comments of the ignorant and hateful only show their insensitivity and inhumanity. Move on here nothing to see here but a grieving heart sick man who is innocent of all the horrible things you TROLLS accuse.
Justified shootings ruled by every inquest isn't that suspicious to anybody? I've lived here since 1957 and I don't remember any other verdict in the case of a police shooting. If the Feds don't step in we will continue to have "Justified Murder" in this town. And if Yant was highly trained then somebody should "Bitch Slap" his trainer. How many has he killed now, two?

It's amazing how the right wing nuts seem to think they can yell and cuss loud enough the rest of us will believe their made up propaganda about Obama and him raising our taxes, When it's obvious it's the Repugnant Republicans are the ones trying to screw the middle class over on taxes. They've been holding jobs and our economy hostage just to make political hay and make the President look bad. To me that is traitorous behavior and "unAmerican"! Who is Gogowhitesox trying to convince with his "fauxnoise" talking points? The "tea party" crowd? They will believe any far right myth you come up with as long as it knocks Obama! What a bunch of morons!
