Well, I agree. The 2nd amendment should get strict scruitiny. The right to both keep and bear arms must be protected. With that said, it is law that the government has pretty much carte blanche with the borders. The 2nd amendment stops at the border. It certainly does not extend into Mexico.

I got to get one of those carbon-fiber AR-15 pistols and a few 30 rounds mags. Pumpkins and home invaders beware!
I think $130,000 is a fair price for a house in most of the country. My house cost right about this much. I paid that much in 1999, of course. But I haven't had much of a raise in the time being. $130,000 is what average people can afford. Not every couple are two college educated and working couples. For the sake of the people in this country, I hope $130,000 becomes the norm again. Homes should not be a savings plan or an investment, they should be an affordable abode for middle class people.
How do you simulate a flattened major city properly? How do you treat people who have been disintigrated?
Thank God we still have many good Americans like this guy.
I am an NRA member and I think the ATF had a good bust here. Illegally exporting firearms to Mexico is not a protected right.
A ruling for the drivers may be the "right" thing to do, but both the drivers and the companies run on thin margins. It could easily blow a lot of these companies out of the water and end up putting a lot of drivers out of work. For the ones that remain after these very hard times, things would improve. For the ones out of work, who knows. If there is only so much money to go around, making employing these people more expensive will certainly result in lost jobs.
It's funny so see them all fighting over pennies on the dollar. The outcome is one of these possibilities: that the lenders will have priority over the pennies, that the contractors will have priority over the pennies, or that the pennies will be split up.
Everyone is getting screwed on this deal unless someone bids more than the $156.2 million that Ichan has bid on this project. According to the article, $2.19 billion is owed (lenders $1.048B, contractors $467 million, bondholders $675 million). Ichan's bid is 7.1% of the mony owed. Everyone is going to get screwed.
