Well, I agree. The 2nd amendment should get strict scruitiny. The right to both keep and bear arms must be protected. With that said, it is law that the government has pretty much carte blanche with the borders. The 2nd amendment stops at the border. It certainly does not extend into Mexico.

I think $130,000 is a fair price for a house in most of the country. My house cost right about this much. I paid that much in 1999, of course. But I haven't had much of a raise in the time being. $130,000 is what average people can afford. Not every couple are two college educated and working couples. For the sake of the people in this country, I hope $130,000 becomes the norm again. Homes should not be a savings plan or an investment, they should be an affordable abode for middle class people.
