What a load of BS. The Supreme Court has ruled that unless a bill specifically denies coverage it will be granted. Therefore, abortions will be covered because the bill doesn't deny it. As for illegal immigrants, Nancy Pelosi specifically stated it would be covered and, again, unless written to deny the coverage then it is covered. The Senate bill, not yet published, will deny it.
As far as Medicare, once more, the House version states it will take savings from Medicare to provide benefits to others. So, how can you take away money from Medicare and it not hurt seniors?

I don't like the Republicans but I don't trust the Democrats either as they are both alike. When you want to reform something you don't crash the whole system and start over, which is what this program will do. When you give a mouse a cracker it will ask for a glass of milk. Once you open the door then government will take it over. Socialism is just that way.

Dejanos vivir agui. Trabajomos sin papeles y manajamos sin licencia. Mandamos dinero a neustras familias para sostener un gobierno corrupto.

Evidently Joe Wilson did not lie but Obama did. Didn't he realize that Pelosi told the press that illegals would be covered? Perhaps it would be better to say that Obama 'acted stupidly.' Until Wilson said what he said, people just assumed that if it didn't say that illegals would get coverage it meant that they wouldn't. However, the Supreme Court has ruled that unless a bill specifically denies a right it is assumed to give the right. Now, the Senate bill will specifically ban illegals. That doesn't mean it won't be in the final bill though with the bills being reconciled.

If the guy is guilty then he should pay the price but until then, he is innocent. Anyone that convicts this guy before a trial, deserves to receive the same treatment.

You don't like this doctor? He is the type we will be getting when we have government sponsored health care.

rejco100 is an atheist or agnostic. This is what this country needs to turn to...not the government. When the people turn to helping each other, when service is more important than materials, when respect is given and received, then we will see true miracles. When everyone wants the government to help them out then we become enslaved to the government. Who will speak out against government abuses if you are getting money and benefits from the government. No one, because they will be afraid the government will take away what they have. That is where we are going, to slavery. These people show that it will be people helping people that will empower us and nothing else.

What many don't understand is that while 71% of Americans may want national health care they want it without it changing what they have and without raising taxes to pay for it. When they have to change what they have and pay for it so that illegals can get health care, the numbers drop dramatically to 49%. If the Dems pass this without the Repubs then the Dems own it and any problem that arises will put power back into the hands of the Repubs, if not total control at least take the super majority away from the Senate. If the Senate passes cap and trade and the taxes raise prices for everyone, then 2012 will lead to a loss of all three branches of government.

The difference between liberal and conservative feelings on this issue is that liberals would not go after one of their own, unless it would benefit them. I use Hillery Clinton as an example when they shrugged off her experience. Conservatives will send people like Ensign home because if they lie to their wife they will lie to their supporters. Liberals like liars if they are Democrats but hate liars if they are Republican.
