Hey Serg what about the Carlysle Corp. H.W.Bush and a member of the bin Laden family were on the board of directors. The Carlysle Group own many Corps. that are a part of the military industrial complex. James Baker was also a board member.
StanG are you telling us politicians don't lie?
Thanks for the post Sergio, the false flag attacks we as a country have taken are there to scare the meek. Does any one think that the mercinaries we have helping our soldiers in the mideast are only over there helping our soldiers?
LarryV you asked what you should do? Take off your pink blouse if you don't feel good. Air out your brain.
No LarryV YOU and YOUR ilk support his decision. I will support our troops in keeping them alive and bringing them home in one piece. Political and corporate greed is not a reason to occupy another nation and definately not a reason to have our soldiers and innocent civilians killed.
The Taliban and citizens of Afghanistan while trying to protect their country from occupying invaders are being slaughtered by our Drones and military.
During the mid 90's we sat down with the Taliban to discuss the building of two pipelines through their country and what it would cost the U.S. oil companies to have the Taliban protect the construction efforts. Condoleeza Rice, who at the time was on the Board of directors of Chevron Oil, spent time in Afghanistan trying to work a deal. The talks broke down when the oil cos. said that the Taliban were asking too much money.
Now the oil cos. will be able to start their project again with more troops on their way for protection. This move won't cost the oil companies a penny, as we the people are financing these occupations by paying our taxes. I've read that by 2013 we will have 400,000 troops in Afghanistan. So our government seems to believe that this so called occupation will go on indefinately with no end. Of course, how long will it take to build 2 pipelines and pump the natural gas and crude oil from the Caspian sea Region? Open your pocketbook and don't hold your breath.
I hope you fellow posters realize larryvegas is only 4'10" tall. The only place he can talk big and the truth won't be known is on line. larry don't you understand we can talk nice to each other? Who knows something good could come out of it. Talking trash like you do will just close everybodies eyes to your post everytime they see your name. If you want to crack a joke, make sure it's funny for everyone.
mschaf, confused as usual? I did not state that I believed what was written back in the 70's, just as I will tell you I do not believe what is being written today. They fact that some scientists believe that our earth's weather has been recycling itself over and over again for millions of years and that there have been climate changes that have taken place too many times to count and in too many areas on the earth to list should tell us that our so called mother nature has taken care of herself.
Climate activities will continue to change forever as it has always done. Thousands of years ago the Las Vegas valley was reaching the highs in temperature of around 150 degrees, according to the discovery channel. The heat was so intemse that it forced the Anastasi Indians to relocate south to where the weather was cooler. Sure we still get hot here but we don't peak and hold at 150 degrees. There is nothing mankind can do immediately to change our weathers directions. We can and should learn how to clean up our environment just for the sake of being green. We should not be suckered into these inconvenient truths that are being spread around to direct governments into taxing citizens to pay for the pollution to be cleaned up, because when citizens have to pay governments or businesses to do something for the good of mankind, we usually will be taken to the cleaners.
Climate change has been going on forever. If some of you remember back in the mid 70's we were told that we were heading for another ice age, which as far as scientists were understanding that it would have been the seventh ice age they would have been aware of. This is all to satisfy the greed of Al Gore and his ilk.
With thousands on the breadlines and thousands more expected, you would expect this program would recieve all the support it needed from the feds to make sure it would be successful. Of course that's the problem. Getting help from the feds.
I would hope his efforts and energies will be monitored to insure the county, that the millions of dollars to be spent will be spent on legal citizens. We don't want him to be like Harry Reid who pushed and made it possible for illegals to get unemployment checks.
