Any Congressman/woman who votes for this bill is voting to let illegals to get health care. We have got to see this bill fail and send a harsh message to our elected officials not to allow illegals to have access to the health plan. Just to let you concerned Americans know how much Shelly Berkley is worried about Americans, She is sponsering the Dream Act bill in congress as Dirty Harry is sponsoring the Dream Act bill in the Senate. Two elected officials who could care less what happens to American citizens.
dhvincent1,your stupidity by far surpasses your intelligence. Don't you realize american teenagers can't even get work at McD's because 95% of all fast food restaurants hire illegals. You are pathetic, weren't you aware that we have been told that we have approximately 230,000 illegals here in L.V. Now use that god given brain you have and figure out if ICE would rid our city of the illegals, how many jobs would then be available in our city for citizens. As far as the union jobs our locals have travelers sitting on their books waiting for work here because their locals don't have any work. Your statements prove that you have no idea what is going on here in L.V. You should refrain from making your stupid remarks and keep your head in the tundra, this way you wouldn't be a danger to any of the good citizens who are suffering this economic nightmare. I don't know if any of you are aware that Sen. Reid stopped e-verify from being added to the bill allowing the funding for citizens who have run out of unemployment benifits. So now american citizens have to once again lose monies that should be provided to citizens and not to illegals who shouldn't be in our country to begin with. By providing illegals with more funding, Reid is acknowledging he is aware that we have them festering here in our country. Oh, but he won't do anything to rid our country of this vermin. Vote Reid out and send him south of the border where his interests lie.
Ship made with steel from Twin Towers is a reminder that no investigation by any law enforcement agency has taken place covering the events before, during and after 9/11.
nednougat, spoken like a true rat(non-union worker). I love the way rats explain anything dealing with union contractors, knowing that their non-union mentality in flowing deeply with jealousy. ned you understand that the reason why non-union contractors don't get the work on the strip and downtown is because they can't be trusted in getting the work done properly, work done with quality and getting the job done on time. That's why non-union is not hired to do the big jobs. I have made many comments in past posts that the unions in town would love to organize all non-union labor to give them quality pay and teach them how to do quality work.
Its comments like yours that tell us union workers that you don't deserve a chance to work union because in your case, stupidity is not an asset. You may continue your job classification as a rat and remember when you go to retire the only reason you don't have a retirement check coming in is because you took the road to slam the good jobs the unions could have provided for you instead of taking advantage of being part of the union spirit. It was your choice.

Kudos for Dean. Any citizen that would not vote for Dean because of his stance on immigration probably thinks his job is so-o-o secure that he will never feel threatened in losing it to an illegal immigrant. Not all of the American citizens can feel that lucky.
Here again we have members of our government wanting to make provisions for people who are breaking federal laws instead of upholding the federal laws that are now written. A question that I have asked many times is,"Is it against the law not to uphold the law?"
Our elected officials are not upholding the laws of immigration on the books and at the same time are wanting to treat these illegals as citizens. They want us to get used to the fact that this is the way it is from now on. Thank God our forefathers had a better sense to fight for what the people believed in and stuck together to voice that they were not happy with ruling Britain at that time.
If we the people don't convince our politicians that the citizens of our country are fed up with their inactions they won't be getting our votes. Our elected officials are supposed to be protecting the people but have been making their priorities the CEO's of big business(greed destroys every politician eventually).
Hence the outsourcing of good American jobs to overseas markets ,lax enforcement on illegals breaking federal laws here are just two huge examples. Even the hispanic voter is in danger of losing work to undocumented immigrants.
If our elected officials don't start doing their jobs by protecting our citizens, they will be forced into early retirement.
