Firstly, I was present for the Nevada Republican Convention. Beers called for a ressess with out putting it to a vote, which is against the parliamentary proceedure. The Chairman only has power so long as the body allows him to. He stopped the convention in the middle of counting district 2s votes. Why? Well, I wont say for sure because the Peppermill gauranteed the party usage of the convention room for three hours longer and had the event scheduled for all day Sunday as well. I will say, however, that after voting for the three district's delegates with a total of nine delegates, the Ron Paul Campaign secured 7. No wonder they wanted to spot counting the votes.
What irritates me about this article is that it suggests that Ron Paul's Campaign was unhonorable in some way. Let's review the facts.
Ron Paul is ignored and hated by the media and was thus never given an oppurtunity to use the media to campaign. Ron Paul focussed on grass roots strategies. All donations to his campaign have come from average Americans, not big corporations.
Where has all the fair journalism gone? This article does shine some what favorably in ways on Ron Paul Supporters, but deffinately keeps to the industry standard of bashing the Campaign, Candidate, and Followers as kooks.
What is more outrageous? Government spending money they don't have or conservative monetary policy? Tyranical law or constitutional rights? The list is endless.
