American is not a monarchy system. We shall end the Bush/Clinton era in November, even if the Democrats nominate Hillary. The Clintons are power-obsessed. and they represent everything wrong about our politics. Turning Brown against Black, back-room political manouvering, Democrats may fall for that, we Independents have not forgotten the Clinton White House of the 90s - Lewinsky scandal, Money for Pardon scandal - Marc Rich, Hugh Rodham etc..
Anyone that thinks Hillary can win the General election is in a different world. The Clintons are power-obsessed, and desperate to return to power. The question in November, should Hillary win the nomination is Do they deserve to return to the White House with all the scandals of the 90s:
Travel Office Firings
Monica Lewinsky scandal
Marc Rich Pardon Scandal
Hugh Rodham Scandal
The Clintons pardoned Marc Rich on their way out of the White House because they felt they will not be held accountable for their actions. Democrats may decide not to hold them accountable for their actions, Independents and Republicans will do so in November. Go Bloomberg, Go McCain, Go Obama. We shall end the Clinton/Bush era this November. It is over for the Clinton/Bush era. McCain is already saying he is running to restore the trust of the American people in their Government. Can the Clintons say that with all the scandals? Bush ran on restoring dignity to the office of the President, that would be the rallying cry of anyone running against Hillary, should the Democrats nominate Hillary.
I am not for Obama or Edwards. I am a proud Independent. I vote for both Republicans and Democrats. I vote for the person NOT the PARTY! I am just sick and tired of Clinton/Bush era. It is time to move this country forward. Bloomberg, Obama, Edwards or anyone else, in my opinion is better than any Bush or Clinton.
There were many other scandals - There is the Marc Rich Scandal? Marc Rich was a felon wanted by the US Government on tax evasion charges, Marc Rich donated a huge amount to the Clinton Library Fund, President Clinton on his way out of office pardoned Marc Rich. Former President Carter called Clinton's action questionable, bothering on fraudulent.
There is Hillary's brother, Hugh Rodham who took money from a convict, and that convict was mysteriously pardoned by the Clinton Administration. I could go on, and on. The Clintons would do anything to return to the White House. The Clintons represent everything we need to change about our politics. It will be a big shame, if after all the scandals of the 90s, we can't do better than another Clinton in the White House. Bill Clinton debased the Presidency, I was ashamed to see him on TV arguing over the definition of "IS". That's my President, our President. I have enormous respect for that office, and I do not think Clintons deserve another night in the White House. Americans will decide in November.
