The cornerstone of rebuilding our nation should be fair and unbiased media as nations with such are recognized to have good government. Apparently you can't have one without the other!
George Clooney deserves some type of award for the opportunities he creates for members of his profession. His drawing power has lured my wife and I to more bombs than any other actor, and though we say never again we too often have.
I voted for Obama and will again, also again as the best of the worst, unless we're lucky enough to field a Presidential candidate promising to adopt public campaign funding for the nation. Some in the legislature feel that the office of The President has power to do so if so inclined and such change will benefit our nation and our economy more than anything during our lifetime.
Change must begin by removing opportunity for corporations to unfairly influence government actions with political campaign contributions. Such action is the catalyst to successfully addressing our many problems.
In the spirit of giving the ownership makeup of our nation's media should give public awareness to a small but growing number of members of Congress, The Senate and noted citizens who are attempting to introduce constitutional amendment to change the way we fund political campaigns in order to restore fair government. That 99% of our nation's media fails to reveal this to citizenry is a national disgrace revealing the unfair influence that large media ownership by powerful few creates.
The no.1 political story of the year goes mostly untold. There are a small but growing number of members of Congress, The Senate and noted citizens who today are publicly endorsing a movement, Get money out, aimed at removing the influence of money from our nation's politics. They're preparing an attempt to introduce amendment to our Constitution to restore fair government which they publicly admit and opine is being corrupted, even to the point of ineffectiveness.
99% of our nation's media, whose ownership makeup also owns a cornucopia of other business interests which enjoy the privilege of using great wealth to influence government actions, fails to give public awareness to citizens of this important event aimed at restoring fair government. This is where we live today!
Anyone interested in a citizen's wish? I wish that our nation's media would stop flooding us with information on candidates that few support and offer us information about the growing numbers of members of Congress, The Senate and noted citizens who are today publicly endorsing a movement, Get money out, aimed at removing the influence of money from our nation's politics. Though they're giving public endorsement, few of the public are aware of it because 99% of our nation's media fails to report it. Media ownership feels that citizens wouldn't be interested in members of our legislature opining that our present method of campaign funding is corrupting government actions even to the point of ineffectiveness? This is where we live today! OCCUPY MEDIA?
The option to donate should be repaced with public campaign funding created by mandatory payroll deductions assessed equally to every worker in order to restore the democracy which has been wrested from us by powerful campaign contributors.
Former GOP Sen. Alan Simpson stated on Cavuto last week that the super commitee fails to reach agreement because of individual beholdence to campaign contributors with conflicting wants and it's time for campaign funding reform. None of our media has picked up on this and given public awareness, just as 99% of our media fails to offer public awareness to a movement, Get money out, aimed at removing the influence of money from our nation's politics. This is where we live today!
Even though this movement is being endorsed by some members of Congress, The Senate and noted citizens they obviously don't wield the power to force media ownership to give public awareness that there is such a movement. This is where we live today!
Last week on Neil Cavuto former GOP Sen. Alan Simpson stated that the supercommitee can't reach agreement because individual commitee members must react to demands of important campaign contributors with conflicting demands and it's time for campaign funding reform.
No media has picked up and given citizens awareness of Mr. Simpson's statements and 99% of the nation's media is today failing to give citizens awareness that there's a small movement, Get the money out, under way to remove the influence of money from our nations politics. Though this movement has endorsement from a few in Congress, The Senate and noted citizens it receives almost no media attention. This is where we live today!

Face it, nations with fair and unbiased media have good governments. Apparently you can't have one without the other! Our greatest mistake has been allowing too much media ownership to so few and until we, once again, make change regarding such our problems will drag on longer than they should.
