Content aside, as a spectacle it was quite the contrast. That is, after the first 10 minutes, when Harry seemed to realize he actually had to be on the same stage with her..... Reid comes across as the aging, pedantic, boring teacher (we've all had some) who puts half the class to sleep in the first 10 minutes, and the remainder not long thereafter. But you kind of forgive him because there's always someone like him somewhere in your family.

Angle could have a theatrical career. Playing the non-stop whiny and especially nagging wife we guys all dread winding up with. Prone to occasional moments of lucidity among all the noise.

Guess it really comes down to which one of the two (or neither) would you trust to make the right set of decisions....or at least not the worst set.

So, Nevada Republicans are happy with replacing a local dairy"s products with similar products from Texas.

And these same Republicans complain that Harry Reid has done nothing for Nevada?

I'd say that it's Speedee Mart Inc. that is turning its back on Nevada here.

Gee, could this be Angle's "Reverend Wright" moment?

Nah. She's so wacked out on her own that whatever her pastor says is just more icing on the cake.

Though I suspect the Reverend won't be supporting Mitt Romney for Pres.

We have an impressive list of Republicans For Reid....and not just wack jobs either but people who have inside knowledge and political experience.

I have yet to see anything similar as Democrats For Angle.

And while we're at it, Angle's hollow cliche-filled rhetoric will find a wonderful companion in Rand Paul, if he's elected:

PAUL: I think first of all, you look at whose money it is. It's the people's money, who earn the money, and we give up some to pay taxes. So I'm not seeing that as a cost to government. But I will immediately introduce bills to reduce spending. I think we should offset it. So I'm not opposed to introducing bills to reduce spending.

WALLACE: There's no way you're going to get $4 trillion by spending cuts.

PAUL: We're going to introduce legislation that will reduce spending. I'm going to introduce legislation that will balance the budget. We will have a balanced budget amendment introduced if I'm elected. We will also have a balanced budget that will be introduced if I'm elected. (Fox News Sunday, debate)
