No need for more studies, wind turbines kill birds and bats without a doubt. No means have been found to avoid this. Duke needs to come up with the money to mitigate the increase in vermin and insect population that will result. More pesticides anyone ?

Oh well it was a good idea at the time and may still be successful in the long run. But if it is going to have a Summerlin style HOA then I won't be moving there.

from the web site for Henderson Executive Airport.
"Avoid overflight of nearby residential areas whenever practical except in an emergency or as
otherwise directed by HND-ATCT.
All traffic patterns shall remain west of HND and clear of the Class B unless otherwise directed by Las

"whenever practical" doesn't sound like much of a prohibition to me. Airport operations my be managed by the County but Flying is managed by the FAA and as soon as the wheels leave the runway they have the last word.
And how many of your neighbors in Seven Hills are pilots flying out of Henderson Executive Airport? It's not like flying is a cheap hobby so there must be some.
But look on the bright side at least their not flying commuter flights out of Henderson.
