Good.Better late,than never.
For those who are worried and scared about contracting a disease, the risk is small. I have not seen reports of additional cases. Be sure to get tested; chances very good for each one of you that the tests will be O K.
For those who are infected, my heart goes out to you.
For those who are outraged,"Amen".
Can Mr Labus give an estimate of the number of people likely to be infected from the exposure? Is it 10,000, 1000 or 100? Even one case is too many. But it might be useful for the 40,000 people to know their individual degree of risk.
Not being licensed is a much, much more serious problem and breach of trust than false advertising.
True. The report incorrectly stated they were not licensed, which if it is true would of a problem of completely different magnitude.
This is good for those who want to be informed.
Where is the information that his gastroenterologists were not licensed? I think he was fined by the board for falsely advertising that one his doctors was board certified. The doctor was well trained and licensed .
I am glad that the AngryPostman thinks out of state doctors are good. Do they become bad once they cross the stateline? Does this change happen to anybody else? Just curious.
KC is justifiably worried. But be reassured that the chance your husband is actually infected is extremely small.Unfortunately I cannot say it is zero, but it is close to it.

With all the scary predictions about blood-borne diseases in the area, due to unsafe practices at some clinics, is anyone surprised about this news?
The media reported the problem of exposure, but did not inform the public about the actual risk of infection.
