Drunk, speeding, running red lights, lying = GUILTY!!

Besides jail/prison I hope she gets hit with MASSIVE restitution that she will be working to pay for the rest of her life.

GOOD!! This operation should be enforced 365 days per year instead of occasionally! Being run over is bad ANY day of the year.

And to the poster above, Las Vegas does have the resources to prosecute other crime too, we dont have to pick one or the other.

I only hope the tickets are expensive enough to encourage drivers to change their habits. Hopefully insurance carriers pick-up on the write-up too and set rates accordingly.

And for those who complain, they are probably the SAME people who get upset over the slightest harm that happens to THEIR OWN but in general can care less about everyone else, it's the new "ME GENERATION" whatever that is good for me and my own is all that matters.

I hope they balance the budget on the backs of bad drivers. It's a win/win situation and I drive quite a bit.

This will just have the opposite affect. Veterans, knowing they have their own court will get into even more trouble than they ordinarily would.

How many times have I heard a member of the military say or imply THEY will can get away with it (insert offence here) even if caught.....

Society does not need those kind of people

This does sound like a WASTE of money. By the same logic then there should be seperate courts for all the different varieties of PTSD and every other affliction.

What about the person who grew up in the 'ghetto' or the person who was 'abused' ect. ect.

These are supposed to be 'professional' soldiers, they dont need this.

Why is this article on the front page for? So does that mean every other article has nonsense b.s. in it that should not be taken seriously??

The DIFFERENCE is this man BROKE the publics trust in a big way, what if this prostitute found out he was a cop and blackmailed him? Ever watched the Sopranos?? It's weak cops like this one that get put on the payroll of criminals - and it happens just that easy.

Go to Burning Man IF you:

*want to see old dudes walking around naked
*not shower for days
*lets face it, after the 1st day YOU WILL NEED DRUGS
*and then finally, after ripening in the desert, all dirty and oily, you will find a "hook-up" and by then it really wont matter how UGLY

The only smart person at burning man was the one who left early and crashed his plane (and walked away!)

Hard to believe that putting lip stick on a pig is going to change anything.

Considering the parent company that owns the Plaza also owns the bed bug hotel known as the Vegas Club, I have serious doubts much more than a quick remodel was done.....the place really needed to be gutted (drywall, insulation, ect ect)

Tom - you're thinking of consecutive sentences (one after the other) like biker bandit.

Anyway, this sounds more reasonable. The prior judge (Michelle Leavitt) was definitely pulling a favor for her judge friend, anyone else would have been "made an example of" for such a high profile armed robbery.

I guess the bandit's dad was only able to do so much.......maybe some of the gaming CEO's put some pressure on these clowns (judges) to stop playing around.

This is almost like an episode from the Sopranos - and didn't the biker bandit have mob ties too??? I read the police report and he is quoted as saying he was interested "starting a crew".......might have to wait a bit now.
