Oh, my.... Gamblndan... I guess when you're intent on trashing one candidate, it's inconvenient to get your facts straight. Let me help.
I'm really impressed that John Edwards was able to to vote for NAFTA, considering he wasn't a Senator at the time.
And a total of 83 Senators voted for NCLB in the mistaken belief that the Bush Administration would fully-fund and implement it as written. Instead, they pushed it off to the states as an unfunded mandate that has failed. NUMEROUS supporters oppose it now because Bush didn't keep his word.
Same with the Iraq War - Senators foolishly thought they could trust the US President and his administration to tell the truth about such an important matter as going to war.
China trade --- broken record here... if the Bush Administration won't enforce trade deals fairly, then they need to be canceled.
I'd much rather have a president who makes the best decision he/she can with the information available and, if that policy isn't working, is flexible enough and smart enough to do a course correction.
Haven't we had enough of stubbornness and false choices in the past 7 years?
Hey, if anyone else is also tired of this back and forth bickering between Clinton and Obama and their supporters, you do have a third option!
The most progressive candidate in the race: John Edwards, has been all but shut out by the media because their in love with their own Clinton/Obama narrative.
Edwards has real, concrete plans to reign in corporate power in this country, support unions, raise the minimum wage, end the war in Iraq, and provide health care to all Americans.
Read his 80-page platform that outlines his plans to restore power in this country to the citizens at: http://www.johnedwards.com/issues/
No other candidate is this specific. With John Edwards, you get a positive message that we can take our country back - and a real plan to do it.
To Hillary08.... very nice sentiment, but that's all it is. As Elizabeth Edwards told Chris Matthews, we fought the battles of the 60's so that everyone would have an equal chance in business, politics, etc. Voting for Clinton because she's a woman makes no more sense than voting for Edwards because he's a man.
No. I'm voting for Edwards because he's hands down the best, most progressive candidate in the race. Thanks to the Las Vegas Sun for finally giving him some coverage - if the networks, cable news outlets, etc. would only follow your lead, we wouldn't be hearing that Edwards is the underdog. He'd be the frontrunner because the more people hear his message, the more support he gets.
Don't let the MEDIA decide our Democratic candidate! Go to JohnEdwards.com and to Clinton & Obama's sites too. Do your own research. When you do, you'll see that we need John Edwards as President.

What again, Gamblndan?
Do you just post and run in every article in this paper?
for the third time....
EDWARDS COULDN'T VOTE FOR NAFTA.
HE WASN'T IN THE SENATE AT THE TIME!
And there was no "China trade deal" as you note. It was to allow China to join the World Trade Organization. The first step to putting some controls & regulations on their markets. Of course, Bush isn't interested in enforcing any labor or environmental issues, but President Edwards certainly will.
jeezzz...
