The SUN should spend a little time looking into how the different cities are spending the money the do get. From what I understand, the City of Henderson has regularly hired Engineers and Architects from out of state to do their designs. Isn't this the SOUTHERN NEVADA Public Land Management Act? I know for a fact the latest park they just sent to design was awarded to a firm out of Lake Tahoe. Shouldn't that money be kept in Southern Nevada to stimulate the economy here? Especially since it came from Southern Nevada developers who purchased the land in the first place!
