Teamsters Local631 Elections for the next 3 years are upon us. Nominations are on Nov. 10,2008,. This could get interesting. I was surfing and came across a couple of blogs. About the up coming elections.

nothing at Local631 changes, the few times they got somebody in there that actually wanted to work for the membership, they get fired or quit. There is something about that Hall evil I think. The old Teamster hall on Wall street did not have the same feel to it. I think thats why hardly anybody comes to meeting any more. Its just not a safe place to be, no trust,no respect, no honor. No pride to be a Teamster any more. Nobody down there even remembers the oath they took, nor do they care. The old time teamsters are all but gone now they were real Teamsters thats what made us proud to be members of Local631.
