How about this:
All casinos, restaurants, and bars be required to post a sign at the front door. It will clearly state if smoking is allowed inside or not. The public can then vote with their feet. What could be more fair?
Also, nobody is forced to work in the smoky places. Anyone who wishes can get another job. There are lots of outdoor jobs in Vegas, and I am sure plenty of outside workers would love to move inside.
The real problem is the taxi situation at McCarran.
The last few times I have visited McCarran, I have had to wait more than 60 minutes to get a cab. Last time was on a Sunday night at about 11:00 PM. Not really a rush hour. I have been going to Las Vegas since 1977, and neven have had this problem until 2 years ago.
I wonder how Fatboy likes them Goodyears now?
NA$CAR is just blindly chasing dollars around the country. They wrongly think going to the Golden State will yield golden rewards. Not only have they been wrong about the $$$, they are wrong about the interest, and wrong about the racing as well.
Looks like they showed them! Typical union way of thinking. They would prefer to close down a company, and risk everybody losing their jobs than negotiate a contract that is fair for everybody.

I agree Phargo, I just never can understand why the WSOP allows Hellmuth to berate other players the way he does. When he begins calling names, it has gone too far. If he called me "idiot" (as he did last year) I would look him in the eye and call him "a**hole", and then just dare the WSOP to do anything about it. He is the King of Jerks.
