You Sun liberals are a bunch of stuff i can't say politely. The Democrat's Community Reinvestment Act created moral hazard in the entire financial market. Then Wall Street knowing that Taxpayers would have to be on the hook for this acted further on that moral hazard and created credit default swaps and other derivatives further multiplying the risk. Both parties have responsibility but, it is the Democrats which created the original act that created all this original risk which started this downfall.

total freaking bullcrap. too much government regulation from liberals forcing their "Community Reinvestment Act" onto banks got us into this mess. this lowered lending standards all across the board and created things like the subprime loan, no money down, and ninja loans (no income, no job). then criminal bankers acting with no moral hazard because they knew the goverment would ride to the rescue compounded the problem by selling mortgage backed securities and derivatives on these risky loans. the source of the original problem is the CRA lowering standards. both parties have responsibility but, it is the liberals who have by far the most.
