Azbycx0918> The Making Home Affordable program is not for investors. It is for a primary residence only. I appreciate that you are taking responsibility for being upside-down in your investment properties. As it was an investment, that is the proper thing to do. Investment involves risk and you have accepted that risk. I made no mistake in buying a house as my primary residence only to see it's value decline 50% because of commercial institution malfeasance and lack of government oversight. Both are responsible and both owe me. That is the bottom line.

Azbycx0918 > Dust the sand off your head and clue in to reality. It doesn't matter what Harry Reid said, you will find a problem with it. Perhaps you've missed BOA's complicity in the housing crisis. Perhaps you bought your house 15 years ago. Perhaps you don't know that 81% of the houses in Vegas are underwater. Perhaps you're just an idiot.

She's quite "independant" though.

This letter to the editor simply serves to continue the thread from yesterday's letter to the editor about Fox News with nearly all the same users commenting nearly the same things.

You are a group of less than 20 people standing in a circle taking turns whacking a dead horse laid in the middle. You're suckers for stale bait. Enjoy spinning your wheels.

LarryVegas,

I watch Fox News. I watch Glenn Beck and O'Reilly when I can catch them. I enjoy Shep and Cavuto too.

As is typical of Fox News and devotees like yourself, you make a giant leap in logic by supposing that viewing Fox News means that you believe Fox News. I view all cable and network news with healthy skepticism. I remember something about keeping your enemies closer?

It is clear that if you must convince people that you are "fair and balanced," it's painfully obvious that you are not. In reality, it is the centrists that make up the majority and as you must have input from both sides, Fox News, the only major network/cable outlet in the pocket of the right, will enjoy a higher viewership than any of the other major networks. Beck is an irresistible car wreck for rubbernecks on the cable news highway. I'm definitely guilty. :)

Ahhh but there will always be people out there who trust a guy that says "trust me".

ReverendKscribe...

Hilarious! Spend much time peering over the fence at Area 51?

Ever hear of a Blue Dog Democrat? The Democrats don't follow in lock-step with their party as the Repubs have done for the last 8 years. It is only because of the Blue Dogs that health care reform has not already been rammed through Congress. I certainly don't support ramming any legislation through Congress without input from all sides.

You think that happened with the Bush tax cuts?

How about some serious investigative journalism to answer these questions from both sides? Jeff Pope, it seems your assignment has just begun with this article. Please server the community and get us some answers.

Johnathan,

Just because John Hunt and Bill Stanley worked "unbelievable hours" doesn't mean they're competent. If you can't get the simplest of decisions correct, i.e. venue size, how can you expect anything else to be done properly?

I was completely taken aback when I saw that the method of voting was to put our 1st alignment voting slips into an undetermined number of cardboard boxes circulating around the room. These boxes were floating in and out of the convention hall and who knows where else and were simply taped shut with packing tape. How can you possibly feel secure that no voter fraud was happening? Knowing how hotly debated this contest is, knowing how close the caucuses were, knowing the chaos and impropriety that surrounded the Jan. 19th caucus, why wasn't security and legitimacy of utmost concern? There should be a single ballot box under guard at all times in view of representatives from both candidates.

Over 1000 delegates did not receive their voting slips. Instead, they were given alternate cards and consequently not allowed into the convention hall after the fire marshal locked the doors. You want to defend John Hunt and Bill Stanley for that?

The frustration of Bill Stanley was evident when the fire marshal locked the doors. He was trying to push his way into the convention hall and I witnessed him violently pushing a black man and an elderly woman to the ground. Bill was accosted by a second woman for assaulting these people and he yelled at her, "I am in charge of this convention and I will have you removed!" At the very least, he should have apologized to the people he accosted. What I witnessed almost called for an assault charge. I found out what kind of person Bill Stanley is yesterday. I have no sympathy for a person like that.

The whole thing was a giant show of ineptitude. I am completely embarrassed for the Clark County Democratic Party. Attempting to place the blame on the previous Chair is absurd. Basic common sense decisions that should have been made were not. John Hunt and Bill Stanley have proven themselves utter buffoons.
