JayeTT: I know that children between the ages of 6 months and two years, and children and adults between the ages of 2 and 24 with underlying health conditions are in the priority group for the injectable vaccine. I don't know about adults and seniors with underlying conditions.

The majority of deaths are people under 65, which is odd because normally people 65 and over make up the majority of the 36,000 deaths/year from flu.

Posted on: Health District offers injectable flu vaccine in Clark County

I called this afternoon, and while they were very helpful, no one could say if they would have the single dose vials for this weekend's clinic. They said it is possible that they may have them in stock, but the single dose vials may be inaccessible during the clinic (the sdv's may be in the "back" refrigerator). I'm hoping they call me back with more information.
