Hey Rob, don't forget the Legends and Friends game follows the exhibition game. I haven't seen a roster, but that could include any player from the 1976 to 1992 Tark years, and a few before and afterward, and that could make for a very large parade.

Freddie Banks, Danny Tarkanian, Robert Smith, Reggie Theus, Armon Gilliam, Mark Wade, Sidney Green, Anthony Jones, ... The list seems endless. Heck, throw in some friends too like Ed O'Bannon, ...

As you noted, this is inspiration, this is what we expect out of UNLV BB.

As an alumni of both OSU and UNLV, I find both sets of fans to be generally respectful and good sports. Drunken brawls are reserved for UNR and Hawaii games.

As in most cases, any program will have homers and trash talkers.

Nothing about UNLV's defense (including the in zone shutout against Sacramento State), and the offensive weapons described above, leads me to believe the Beavers aren't going to rack up points.

That said, UNLV has a decent offense, and I hope we win.

markp,
You are correct, but whenever the police round up a group of supposed down-loaders of child porn, their faces are plastered on the front page of the paper and thrown in jail.

Both acts gross, and both being illegal. But what's worse, looking at pictures, or actual sexual intercourse with a minor?

Why the double standard? Oh yeah, he's a cop.

This sounds awesome.

The city of Henderson is dishing out tens of millions for a space museum, and for a couple hundred thousand we could have one of the best, if not the best museum in the Las Vegas area.

Both of our US Senators are tied into the federal oligarchy, and neither represent our state, nor the citizens and political parties that elected them to office.

There is still hope for our house representatives.

Typical police.

Lie #1: The cop's L&S were on. LIE!

Lie #2: The other party was impaired. LIE!

Step right up folks for lie #3. Any takers? Can we get some action at the books?

My company just announced 20% salary reductions across the board, and I'm supposed to have pity for these government workers losing 4%?!?! So their proposal is raise my taxes and put me and my family out on the street.

Jack and Elizabeth,
Sorry to hear about your injury, Jack. To me this seems common sense, but here it goes:

1. Smart getting rid of your big dog.
2. Break your home lease immediately. You can find a room or apartment for rent for $700 a month on craigslist. It may require you to get rid of the other dog, or moving into a worse neighborhood. For $700 you can likely keep the small dog. Find a place walkable distance to shopping or a bus route.
3. Break the lease on one of your cars immediately. Everyone has bad credit these days so don't worry about it. You might be able to negotiate it so it won't hit your credit.

Two people can easily live off $36,000 per year if you get out of the consumerism mindset ($2,500 bedroom sets). Take these actions and you will likely keep yourself off the streets. Good luck.

Lenny_V, because as is all things in life, nothing is certain except death and taxes. In his manner of speaking he vocalized that uncertainty.

As Jacob Hales noted, whoes assignment was it to mirror their quarterback's movements?

Either this novel approach (sarcasm) was lost by our coaches, or we just don't have the players to get the job done.
