Sgt. Rock speaks the truth. Let's take it to court! As this smack-down unfolds it will be interesting to see who the liberal union lackies favor, the people they represent or the unions who give the liberals the payoffs.. very sad.
I think this is great! It brings alot of business into the state and creats jobs for alot of people. If people don't like plants and animals being destroyed in the desert, why don't they protest all of the government use of the desert...
Why don't you put the affordable housing in YOUR neighborhood! I would rather have a casino that brings in money than affordable housing that will look like a getto in five years.. what do you want, a casino that brings jobs or affordable housing where no one works..
This is what happens when you allow a monopoly! The only control is a commission which might be a little too friendly with the utility.. Obama's health care will be just like this utility. Controlled by a commission. We have no say on what we pay. They just bleed us dry. Time for good old competition. Why not different utility companies? Let them use the same transmission lines and just feed power.. We have no say in the outcome.. How sad.
Divas gone wild.. it seems like the only "jerk" at the show was her...
Buckley said he has two families. His wife and the Democratic party. What happened to his service to the people who elected him? Doesn't he represent the people in his position? Buckley was promised something for his vote. We will just wait and see where he ends up to see what he traded his vote for. FOLLOW THE MONEY and you see their motivation. How sad...
This is a step in the wrong direction. The current system takes care of problems like Halverson. We don't need a panel selecting their political friends for judges. Let the people decide...
The business model for Las Vegas is sound. It is the economy that is bad and people see all of this new spending by the government as a bad thing. Las Vegas should stay the course and when the economy gets better, Las Vegas will get better. I only hope the President does not spend us into a third world country status before then.
Good for the Gov! As a former Kalifornia resident I can see the way Nevada would go if the tax and spend liberals have their way. If you want higher taxes, more government running every aspect of your life and less freedom then move to Kalifornia! You tax and spend liberals should move there instead of trying to turn Nevada into Kalifornia...

The problem with solar is that it is not price competitive with other forms of generated electricity, without government subsidy. Unless you drastically raise the price of all other forms of generated electricity which would hurt the economy. If we allowed the free market to work we would understand this.. very sad
