I agree with the last Comment. Give The Sucker a far shake. Return to the $1.00 bet tables and the customer will come. Get rid of the College Grad Pit Bosses and go back to basics. The name of the industry is Gambling. Make the little guy feel important. I worked for Meyer Lansky and I owned 19 bars in N.Y.S. You need the constant player as much as you need the whale! Sincerely www.bigmikecraft.com
I know this is a late comment because it is in July in Saratoga but as an old Tavern & club owner from N.Y. (verified at the SLA). I did it for 31 years! You can give these people 16 oz coors lite all day long and make 400%. Give the watchers in Gambling a $2.00 hi-ball of any kind and you will control the strip. All the employees will gather for drinks after work if you get the rep as the $2.00 bar. They will eventually gamble. The $2.00 hi-ball (all bar brands, all mixes) will make you an additional 1 million a year from casino employes of other casino's. I know this because I am bigmikecraft and I worked for Meyer Lansky the last 15, with Paul DiCocco. I always remember Meyer saying on the few times I saw him ( I did the Canadian border )," Always give the sucker a fair shake" Give the sucker's handlers a fair shake and they will throw money at you. Sincerely www.bigmikecraft.com PS- The term the last 15 meant, the last 15 years of Meyers life, 68-83, Paul DiCocco died in 1989. Good Luck MC
Ms.Sykes, I have enjoyed your act many times. I just happened to be reading the Vegas Sun from Saratoga, N.Y. waiting for the track to open! So I think I shall write you a healthy comment. I enjoyed your acting in Monster in Law, the bomb movie with an all star cast. I felt that your acting was exact to your part and the best supporting acting in that movie. I like your Larry David appearances but must say that YOU backed up a faltering Jane Fonda very well. I hope to see you in N.Y. soon. I have M.S. and do not get to Vegas as I did in the old days when I worked for Meyer Lansky. I use to love the old strip because it was so casual. I would have a drink with many of the stars and loved to play golf and gamble. Good luck in Vegas, I miss it and I loved it! You can contact me thru www.bigmikecraft.com Sincerely big mike craft
I bet the Belmont and I take full responcibility for my loss. I did not bet Big Brown. That horse should not have been allowed to race. He had a 1 inch tear in his hoof. The Vets should have pulled him but the New York Racing Association is in such bad financial straits that they schilled the horse Big Brown. By keeping the horse in the race and starting him, they increased the days handle, and every bettor knows that the Track gets 18% of the gross no matter which horse wins. My informant at Racing and Wagering in Albany, N.Y. told me that by Brown being in and finishing last it increased the pool by at least 8-10 million. I am glad the horse does not have to be put down. The Management of that horse should have an IQ test. The horse could have fallen and they would loose 10 million in stud fees. Thank You Big Mike Craft

Dear Frank, I am glad to see that someone is excited about Afghanistan. I sign my real name because I can always back up my comments. Mr. Bush started the War in Iraq because there was a half beaten defined enemy who was easily beaten. The Taliban were next. Please remember the Russians lost in Afghanistan and they were next door. In 2000 years this country has never been fully conquered. The Kabul Government does not really exist. Their President is a former Drug Lord and Mr. Bush still owes $45,000,000.00 to the old Saudi controlled Bank BCCI. There was never going to be a win. Bin Ladens money is in The 3 safe haven banks in Europe. Ask your senator why have not we confiscated that money. The King of Saudi Arabia controls the playing field for now. Until a real American takes control of the world situation for American interest only, you will not see change. Also I was a Treasury consultant, and I was once a gangster, I know Politcs.
