That phone call can't be that important. If it is, then pull over. We have replaced the radio with phone calls while driving to and from work. Society is so insecure with themselves they have to be in constant contact with someone else. I have bluetooth integrated with my stereo, so not only can I call, but I can text hands-free. Even though it is still somewhat a distraction, I don't have to take my eyes off the road to scroll down to a person on my phone list.

You guys are seriously mistaken; This is a great law! Like you said, people going 30 in a 55 while talking on the phone are bad. They cause accidents. The phone call can't be that important. I've been unemployed for two years. I am a computer programmer. It's not like I haven't looked, but the job market here sucks.

You try moving with a lease, 3 kids and 2 dogs. It's not fun. We did that moving here, we're not moving again soon.

The economy does suck, and the job market is worse.

@James_P_Reza I agree somewhat. But holding a phone to your ear makes it so you only have one hand on the wheel, and also does not allow you to check your blind spot when you are holding it with your left hand, unless you twist your body.

Every single study about red light cameras lowering the accident rate have been funded by law enforcement agencies.

It's a misdirection they use to increase their revenue.

Not to mention horribly timed lights all over vegas which encourage speeding and going through yellow lights, so you don't have to sit through every single one.

Yeah, sure you pay low or no taxes, but starting the business, renting, and paying license fees to the city, clark county and state of nevada just to begin, it's about the same price.
