"Edwards came and left last night" makes it sound like Edwards is spending less time in Nevada. As I recall it, he has visited the state more often than any candidate.
Most importantly, Edwards is the candidate who will come back after the campaign is over. When Edwards ran for Senate in NC, he visited every county. After Edwards won, he kept on visiting, and continued to visit every county and connect with the people. It wasn't just about campaigning to him. It was real.
Caucus for John Edwards!
This article did not talk about the differences among the candidates with unions. John Edwards is the real pro-union candidate. He has been supporting unions all across the country long before this campaign ever began. Edward's campaign manager is Congressman David Bonoir, one of the strongest supporters of unions ever. Edwards listens to members, and not just to union leaders. He respects union leadership, but backs unions because of the members. He passionately wants to help Americans have real opportunities and better lives. Edwards has seen the rug pulled out from under family and neighbors as a young man watching textile mills closing all around him. He will never forget. He will never stop working. Edwards is the ONLY candidate who speaks for unions everywhere he goes, and to all audiences. He is the only candidate who is pro-union in his general campaign materials, and does not have an extra flier he uses only in pro-union areas. He supports the unions. Period. There is a big, big difference in being pro-union only when you need votes to win a primary. Will this kind of promise be kept? Edwards is the candidate every union member in Nevada should caucus for. Not merely caucus for, but caucus proudly for. Show the country that union members have good memories, and understand real loyalty.
Does anyone buy it when, primary after primary, Hillary listens to people and makes some amazing and touching new discovery??!! How ignorant does she think we are?
John Edwards worked hard in New Orleans, before this campaign even began, to help home owners keep their homes. He also worked there many times with a shovel and a hammer. John Edwards has understood this, and all of the other key issues, for a long long time. And he has enough respect to talk straight to us about it.
John Edwards. Straight talk. Honest. Please caucus for Edwards!
I believe that Hillary means well. But the powerful influences of Washington politics will overwhelm anyone who is too tied into it. Too many favors to repay, to many deals to make good on. Only one candidate is completely free of any "strings attached". John Edwards. It is a lot harder to campaign without making deals and taking money along the way, but in the end Edwards will owe only one group. Us. Regular American people. Edwards will fight hard for us, and have nothing holding him back.
Stand up for John Edwards at caucus. He is the candidate who truly is standing up for you, and always will.
John Edwards has been the real leader in this democratic campaign. He was the first with a healthcare plan, first with a plan to streamline our military and improve our support for our military service people and families, he was the first to present a plan to strengthen the economy, and the first to call for bringing all combat troops home from Iraq. Often Edwards has ideas first, and then a couple of weeks later one of the other candidates is shown all over television saying the same thing. Edwards stands up and speaks out and does not wait for polls to tell him what to say. He speaks the truth, and will continue to speak out for us and fight for us as president. This man went all around the country fighting state by state for an increase in minimum wage, and often won. Now he is fighting for another increase that is tied to the economy. Others have jumped onto this issue only recently. Edwards is the visionary candidate in this contest. He is the one who understands regular Americans, and will never forget the poor and the elderly either.
I urge you to caucus for John Edwards.
John Edwards is the candidate who genuinely cares about people, and understands the urgent need to bring change to help them. He has worked tirelessly to raise minimum wage, and was successful at both a state level and national level. I do not think most people know how much this man has done to strengthen unions. Edwards owes nobody, and will get the job done for us if we elect him. Edwards always scores the highest in head to head match ups agains the likely republican candidates. Find out more about John Edwards before you caucus. If you do, you will surely caucus for Edwards!
Before voting, I urge everyone to find out more about John Edwards.
He is not getting as much media coverage as Hillary and Obama, so you may need to do some research on your own. You will find that Edwards was the first candidate to come out with many of the ideas and programs that the other two are now talking about. First with healthcare, first with plans to help working people, first with plans to help rural people, first with plans to create work and educational opportunities, first to fight against lobbiests and the big corporate interests. I believe that the person who came up with these ideas is the person who truly believes in them, and will work hardest to make them a reality.
John Edwards is the candidate to vote for in the caucus. Check out his plans and positions. You will be glad you did! Thanks!!
John Edwards has stood up for working people for many years. He deeply cares about making sure that everyone has opportunities for a good life in this country. Before ever entering politics, the Edwards set up an afterschool program in NC - at their own expense - to help all children have a fair chance to do well at school. The cause of fighting for working people is not just a political speech for Edwards. It is in his heart.
I know that some unions fear backing someone who is a bit of an underdog. But members still have a choice. It makes sense to me that Edwards has been left out of national news coverage, since he opposes the large corporate interests who own media and their biggest sponsors. But it is well worth your time to find out about this man's plans and ideas. Many of the things Obama and Hillary were talking about are the same things Edwards has been talking about for years.
I know that John and Elizabeth will make these changes happen for us, if we stand up and vote for John. Please cast your vote for John Edwards.

Go John go! Since Edwards is the candidate who has taken no money from special interests, he has to fight harder in this campaign. He must take his message straight to the people! I admire him for keeping up the toughest schedule of anyone in this race. It is amazing to me that the more hectic his pace, the more energized he becomes. I guess he is fighting hard for what he believes in, and draws strength from that!
Edwards made more visits to Nevada than any other candidate, and many listened.
Caucus for this man, and let him know he does not need that special interest money. He's got us!
