It does make you wonder how we could have a net increase in population in this rotten economy. But think about it-According to Wikipedia-certain recently arrived ethnic groups average over 3 children a year, which is much higher than the average 2 children of most other groups.

Most of my friends who work in the casinos smoke. Especially the females, I think it is a weight thing. But when you think about it, they have to interact with wild butt fiends at the tables and bar. Drunken gamblers who go through a pack easily, dropping butts on the carpet, so what?, whatever will keep them gambling.

If you've ever been in a smoke pit casino, like those on Boulder Hwy, you realize that to not smoke is one step from Hell in these places. Everybody's clothes stink. Until we stop the addicts blowing smoke in enclosed spaces, you will die young if you work there. So make your choice in this rotten economy-but you will pay later.

I lived in apartments for 25 years. Yes, they suck, but I was making big bucks with Bechtel. So I lived with drunken bums, whores on call, stupid ignorant kids playing BBall all day, all over the country. When I stopped working, I decided to live in the desert. I like the weather.

But I didn't buy a house in North LV. Not downtown LV. I bought in Henderson. Nice place. Sure, the schools suck, but my kid was already grown up.

My point? Your choices determine your outcome. Want to get shot in the head? Go to NLV. Want to have stupid kids? Live in downtown LV.

Want a decent life? Go to Henderson or Boulder City. Sorry, but that's the facts, Jack.
