What this article failed to mention was that union leaders raises are voted on by the members. So don't blame union leaders for having raises blame the members. I am sure that if you are a teamster you also get raises every year. I have seen many people get their jobs back for the past several years. Many did not deserve them. Many for cardinal sins. It sounds like to me that Kevin Hardison is very pissed off that he lost the 2005 election. He needs to understand that the only way the union can be strong is to be united. That is the only way we can get the contracts we deserve. Employers hate us and the union and do not want to give any of us anything. We must fight together and stand together and strike together so none of us end up like most of the non-union country. Don't shop wal-mart.

Sounds to me Kevin Hardison is not the right man for the job. If you vote for him in the upcomming elections there will be no more teanster union. This guy will disbatch all non-union labor. Then there will be no more teamsters in this right to scab state. Everyone should wake up and address the real issues like getting the right to work repealed. Lets get the signatures required to get on the ballot and let the people decide so we can once and for all get rid of the right to work law. Then labor can make real strides in this state. The real battle is with people who are willing to prositute themselves for non-union wages. We need closed shops in every industry no more fence walkers. For all teamsters who are unhappy with your contracts remember this you voted for it. Try reading and informing those who refuse to so you can make an informed vote. The only way we make our union work is by unity and solidarity. Don't be fooled by sheeps in wolves clothing.
