Wow listening to the people, how do they do it? Good for them I hope their business keeps growing and Lisa King the casino's premium sexy and deadly spokesmodel keeps working. Love you Lisa, -Seven.
Everyone that lives here has the same chance to lose their home. I am a 'White' (Used as a reference to the article only) American with tons of skill and experience in many fields. I haven't worked for almost 6 mos now and my wife in five. I spent 25+ years in the regular work force as a paying contributor to my unemployment and taxes. I only recently in the last 10 years or so started working in a field where I would be a freelance and self employed stagehand. It is a right to work state after all and I am part of the system and a Union member of the Local 720. But a lot of my work depends upon getting and keeping my own jobs. Suddenly my work dried up due to economic concerns and poor state and US government systems management and I am forced to file for unemployment for the first time in my life. I get $157.00 a week and NO chance of receiving any other aid due to my tax bracket. I have no real "On the Books" recent experience to get another job and may be standing in front of Home Depot begging for landscaping work soon enough. I guess I should have spent more time using my money in unemployment accounts over the years if I had known it would be taken away and wasted. It doesn't matter who you are it is tough for everyone everywhere and to focus on ANY race is ignorant and stupid. BTW the 'Learing at our daughters comment' was one of the most racist things I have heard in a long time, how dare you! I can lear at a girl as good as anyone. I choose not to. Gary
Last year some punk kids who walk by my house from school everyday kick out one or two of my sprinklers, it is a weekly ordeal to dig up and replace heads and re glue pipes. The 'Aqua Cops Water Force' were called on me for wasting water because it was shooting out of the ground in the middle of the night. Now, like a convicted felon, I have a water company vehicle that comes by to report on my "Water Wasting" to the supervisors on a regular basis. So I turned my water usage way down and now I get complaints about my dying lawn. When will it end? I refuse to make my 50 year old house look like a cactus/rock garden because a bunch or noisy firecrackers want me to. It sucks and something must be done. If the water company thinks they can raise rates without seriously considering all the solutions then why should I have to pay more for a regular lawn in a normal established neighborhood. I am being penalized for having grass??? Thanks the the snake tongued Pat Mulroy, who by the way can avoid answering ANY question proposed to her by, well, answering 'Any question proposed to her!' Good luck to all of us on this issue. We are at her explicit mercy make no assumptions about her ability to circumvent all issues directed at her Water Kingdom. She would make a great politician, oops too late. Gary
Lets just hope that someone with an "Open Mind" and a propensity to help others gets elected. I am a DEM but not so left that I can't see the need for some of the GOP's basic wisdom's. It's the "Greedy Old Rich White Guys" in America that are causing most of the problems and I have the most problem with. DEM's and GOP's are not as important as the actual needs of the people, safer neighborhoods, better and safer drivers, health care, safer schools, better jobs, fair and equal support for everyone in the state etc etc. This constant division by news reporters is the main reason for the stark polarization of the population of this country. Divide and conquer is the order of the day and the media is eating it up, getting fat and taking sides. Knowing what an even minded and good person you are you on a personal level, I still feel anyone who is reporting news has a biased viewpoint or you couldn't be a regular voter or make basic life decisions. Everyone chooses a side. I do hope you continue to be on of the few respected and powerful voices in Las Vegas. Gary 7 Foot Sauer

Just another stupid lawsuit claiming everyone else should be responsible for everyone. I am sorry about the incident and hope this kind of thing doesn't happen again, but it will, regardless of how many security guards are being employed. A man was killed at Caesars Palace a cpl weeks ago. Should Caesars be liable???? No and they would have to have a security official on all four sides of every single patron that ever walked near the property. And they still can't protect everyone, even lawyers. Gary
