75% of everything we read on the internet is propaganda. The other 25% was written by others who also lie for personal and financial gain. Welcome to the 21st century. Caveat Emptor people! Watch out for yourself, expect to be duped a hundred times a day by people trying to separate you from your money. No one is above it, everyone is capable of it so you should protect yourself from it by using your 'Brain'. Stop walking around in a fog and think about it before you book something or buy something. Everyone has a different perspective on a situation and different expectations about their plans and recreational activities. My wife always asks the waitress about certain dishes they serve. If the waitress does not like fish she will make a face when my wife asks about the salmon, so she wont get the salmon. Or my mom will tell me that she hated/liked a movie and I should go/not go to see it. All useless information. Like commercial advertising, it is all about making you attach a feeling to a thing so you will give your cash to get/see it. Hook, line and sinker baby. "Las Vegas What happens here stays here" ie; We want your money.

Ahhh a mob museum, I thought Las Vegas already was a mob museum. No, [sarcastically] we don't need 300,000 dollars anywhere else. Go ahead use it like its yours to spend. Can I get help with my power bill?

Wow Rick a brutally honest insight into the life of Steve Wyrick. You certainly nailed him.
I find that Las Vegas entertainers are all seemingly 'Bigger Than Life' it's a branding thing. Life imitating art. I thought it would make a great reality show to turn a nobody into a somebody with only press like a 'Borat' or Blair Witch that stupid horror movie that was supposed to be a true story. Steve was trying to create 'IT' where 'IT' doesn't exist. I haven't seen any of his shows at all, not even on YouTube. But I have seen a lot of Vegas shows and they all seem like they would be better if you were watching as a drunken tourist with a comp. The 'Sirens' of TI come to mind. There seems to be lots of glitz and no more style and grace or skill for that matter on Vegas stages. I went to see an adult 'topless' show a cpl years ago. I did not realize the 'Topless' parts of the show were as tiny little vignettes. A few select showgirls that do nothing but stand there topless graced our presence for about 20 seconds 3 times during the show. The rest was just mediocre performances by working local dancers. Nothing against locals but as a society we should demand more then "Boobs on a Stage". Play on Steve W. You are sure to make your comeback tour a huge success. G

The failure of the Monorail system came by design. The opposing factions, companies like the Taxi authority and CAT Bus made sure the monorail had the hardest time surviving. Not attaching the monorail to the airport ensures its failure. No one wants to walk a block or two off the strip to Paradise just to get a ride to the next casino etc...
The best use of the monorail always should have been bringing airport passengers up into the strip and to downtown. Forcing the Monorail group to create a passenger loyalty without the airport and downtown connection was how the lobbyists work to ensure it doom. Another home run for the city fathers, not. -Seven

Just another stupid lawsuit claiming everyone else should be responsible for everyone. I am sorry about the incident and hope this kind of thing doesn't happen again, but it will, regardless of how many security guards are being employed. A man was killed at Caesars Palace a cpl weeks ago. Should Caesars be liable???? No and they would have to have a security official on all four sides of every single patron that ever walked near the property. And they still can't protect everyone, even lawyers. Gary
