I just read this after doing a search for cottages in Las Vegas. Smaller, energy efficient homes would have saved Las Vegas from the current housing disaster. There still is a long way to go in architecture for Las Vegas homes. Whoever, started building oversized homes on undersized lots is crazy and anyone buying them crazier. Why in the world did you build homes with unusable interior spaces that eat up energy for cooling and heating, year-round? Then add as many windows as possible and try to face them into the sun. Insulation? No need for that. Now there is a city with interminable miles of road passing miles of ugly looking buildings, passing for homes. This is a city to live in or just to visit, as before?
