what Dennis said.....
The fish stinks from the head on down. We will witness some world-class C.Y.A. moves in the coming months and years.
I believe that eventually these scandals will be put in the store front window.
It is my hope that justice will prevail for the tortured, the torturers and most importantly for the families of the victims of the attacks on 9/11/01
Rest in peace
We saw the The Pete Best Band here at the Fest for Beatle Fans. They were quite good. Maybe they could do Thursday nights. Don't count out The Hoff. He might just slip in under the wire.

Thanks for your wonderful reporting as always. The show last night was "Magnificent" We're glad you had the chance to meet President Clinton.
Last night we left the stadium from the west at 12:15 p.m. and proceeded west on Tropicana. We were shocked and dismayed to see hundreds of concert goers having to walk from the stadium west all the way to the Boulder Highway and beyond ,some desperately trying to hail taxis which did not stop. These poor people, many of whom were young females, were left stranded on a desolate stretch of Tropicana with no street lights or sidewalks.
Having just returned from spending a week in Washington D.C., a city with a fully functional public transportation system, I once again saw how dysfunctional our system is.
The mission of the Taxicab Authority and the RTC should be to make sure the public is served.
The tourists and locals who attended the U2 show and had to depend on public transportation were not served. This lack of service placed many of the customers of Sam Boyd Stadium in a dangerous and potentially tragic situation.
This kind of thing should never happen again. The RTC, the TA ,UNLV and all the other agencies involved need to get their acts together to serve the public good. Public safety should always be the top priority.
The next governor of Nevada should do what ever is necessary to secure the funding to purchase more buses, develop light rail or whatever is needed to insure the public has the transportation system it deserves. The transportation situation after the show last night was an epic FAIL. We can do better.
