I agree with kenodave. Aliante Station is a 20 min. walk from my home and if it is like any of the other Station Casinos, I will only be there to eat a 2 for 1 buffet and then will leave to gamble Downtown. Station Casinos need to take a lesson from El Cortez and its slot club. It is very easy to understand and very fair. Also, the liberal slots, the table minimums, # of decks used for Blackjack, as well as the payout for a Blackjack at El Cortez, are all worth the drive from the Aliante area. The Fitz & the California Hotels also offer better payouts than Station Casinos. I avoid Station Casinos except for food or gift promotions but would also consider reserving rooms at Aliante Station if there are special rates offered to locals. I'm willing to give this new Aliante Casino a FAIR chance, but I also want to stretch my food and gambling budget as far as I can. If I'm going to gamble there or at any of the other Station Casinos, they need to make changes to make things FAIR for me too, and I gamble & eat out every evening!
