A lot of the comments here say that 400 miles of roads and trails is enough for the ATV riders in Southern Nevada. Well how many square miles of wilderness areas do we need for hiking and exploring. There are so many of them that it is cutting off the access to the public lands for ATV's. I was riding in the Mt Charleston area last week on a trail up to the La Madre Wilderness area. It was a nice trail and when I went back a few days later it was closed off by the BLM. Now if you want to go the the Wilderness area you have to hike 8 miles just to reach it. I can't understand that, why not keep the trail open.
