on the criminal side, the irs investigation is just the beginning. the orchestrated and organized scheme of stevie d (modern day nicki santoro) and robert is not just a tax matter, but a violation of federal laws - the RICO act. when is the u.s. attorney's office going to move forward and file a criminal complaint?
on the civil side, the hotels should file civil complaint against pure management and personal actions against stevie d and robert for all lost revenue. a formal court ordered accounting of all the books and records will show how it all just doesn't add up.
when is the fbi and u.s. attorneys' office going to conduct a RICO investigation on stevie d and his posse? hopefully, the irs will provide their findings to them so the truth will come out.
steve davidovici is the modern day version of nicky santoro, the character played by joe pesci in casino. you love him if you are part of the take and (literally) fear him to death if you are not. in the end, we all know what happens to people like that! while he has built his empire, so did hitler (which is how he runs things).

let's not forget how many people sheldon put out of business and into bankruptcy when he opened the venetian - how many people he did not pay in full or how agreements he did not honor for services rendered. it is not surprising he is doing it again. while he is honored as a billionaire, 28 billion to be exact, he should have to pay all those people he put into bankruptcy or paid only a portion of the contract!!!
