I thought it would be a good idea to post here asap because I have, believe it or not, a cyberstalker/impersonator out there who likes to post using my name saying not so nice things about people, including myself. He/She did it with John L. Smith's article in the LVRJ and it was subsequently removed as false. Ha!
I very much appreciate the opportunity to appear on Jon's show today and have a true voice, he was fair and honest. Thanks also to Dana Gentry! I would like to wait and see what other replies are added before I contribute again to this blog. If I do add anything, it will be under this username. If you see another username posing as me, it is false and misleading and should be regarded as such.
I look forward to a lively discussion with intelligent people on this subject!

Let's see... This is an ordinance that was proposed by the disgraced Dario Herrera, so that should tell anyone with a brain, the ordinance is rooted in hypocrisy to begin with. I guess in his mind, the term "Sex Club" didn't apply to the strip clubs where he was receiving fellatio in exchange for political favors he granted.
This county is run by politicians who turn a blind eye when they choose, saying they have to catch other clubs in the act! They really expect us to buy that? As if they don't have the ability to walk in any night of the week to "catch them in the act"? It's been almost 15 years! How much time do you need to "catch them in the act"? C'mon Chris G! Maybe someone, somewhere in the upper tiers of the power structure is receiving political favors in exchange for "compensation".... Maybe they just "forget" to look when called upon to do so.
Every elected official should be required to submit to a privileged license application and background investigation like business owners who own Adult, Liquor, and Gaming licenses do. I can think of no greater privilege than serving the public. The same should also be done for all County government employees.
Time has shown Clark County has employed more eventual felons, who committed more crimes than anyone would have ever expected, all at the tax payers expense. I wonder if Clark County's really decided to clean up their act after all these years. At this rate, even a Sex Club operator would make a better County Commissioner than those of recent memory.
