As someone who is working with the LVMC I know first hand they are targeting conventions and convention goers. They have procured a seasoned team of sales reps that are devoted to conventions. Additionally they have developed a system that allows the LVMC to re-brand their ecommerce, ticketing platform for each convention. The convention organizer then promotes The Monorail as one of their preferred transit methods. This last year they did a pretty good amount of shows including CES, CTIA, ASTA & NAB. They are definately working hard and laid the ground work in 2007 that should start paying off this year.
