To Billy & Jane and the entire Mahue Family, Your Dad and Mom were always the kindest and nicest folks any one could ever know. He walked and talked with Kings, Presidents and the power elite. Yet your Dad had a decency and kindeness about him. A real gentleman of the old school. He also was proud of his Catholic Faith and really proud of you Billy and Jane and all of his children and of course his grand children. I last spoke to him last year and was as wonderful as ever. Not to long ago he even came and spoke to a group on Nevada History for me. He was riveting ,because he not only knew it he lived it. But he did it with great class and dignity.
One of the great men in Nevada History. He will be sorely missed. Bill my heart goes out to you and your entire family.
God Bless him and you,
Your friend,

A fine man and a great Dad, Grand Dad and husband too. Mr. Maheu you had more class and dignity in your little finger than so many people in level of life.
Our hearts go out to Billy and the entire family.
Las Vegas is sure the better for you sir.
Rest in Peace, You will be missed
