McCain has proven that his so called "moderate" approach is but an act. The crazy woman he thinks will make a good VP has too much of a bite. I think they will win because they are falling down the same road of the George Bush dirty political tricks. Palen should get herself fixed. She just had a kid with a disability, and will obviously spend no time with it after she gets elected.

I'm sick of these people who pump kids out like rabbits, and hire someone else to take care of them...and than try to force feed us their extreme rightwing view on family values. Use BIRTH CONTROL!!!

kgolding obviously doesn't live in Lincoln County. It's appalling that people just decide the region they don't ever go to is a suitable sacrifice zone for their own energy waste.

It is always someone's backyard and trying to ignore those people is classic George Bush style politics.

I hope kgolding is willing to sacrifice his/her personal backyard for a big solar panel or wind mill. All for the greater good. Get rid of that vegetable garden!

Here's the really painful question. How many of you (liberal or conservative) could live with less? Yes, yes, I know I am on a laptop now, but it is powered by a solar battery. Really was not too expensive at all, but the price needs to come down. The point is, I lived most of my life without the Internet, Cell-phone and even without TV. The big population of the world is the issue, yet no one discusses zero population. No one is willing to live on less energy. My friend is in real estate and there are people in many states who won't even consider buying a house without air conditioning and refuse to consider a swamp cooler which works very well in the southwest.

Here we are trying to save the planet! The liberals are pointing fingers at the Hummer drivers while they can not survive without their text messages ant flat screen TV's. The conservatives are using their post traumatic stress syndrome to blame all the liberals for their own diabetic energy wasting lifestyles, but I see very few people really attempting to use less energy. Americans are spoiled brats (that includes you, Harry Reid) who won't really lift a finger to conserve energy. That's why T-Bone Pickens laughs all the way to the bank.

Neiman is an extreme-o. But the letter to Reid is a good idea. Tell Reid to keep alternative energy on rooftops and close to urban areas. The whole conservaion philosophy is enviro in origin. It only makes sense to conserve wildlife if you really support green energy!

Wait a minute! Generating your own energy on your roof means that you won't have to buy it from T-bone Pickens or any of Senator Reid's contributers! So we can have energy independence as long as we can buy it from T-Bone! I guess soon it will be illegal to generate your own energy. All of these conservative nature haters just wanna be someone's b**ch I guess...
