A resignation for being a fool in love? How sad. Apparently sex is the only thing that matters to the people of Nevada. The budget, the lack of concern for education and vital services, the lack of concern about the hepatitis issues and on and on, none of this matters. But act like a love sick teenager with a pager and everybody wants a resignation. PLEASE, I do not care if this governor is in love with this other woman. I want the State to be taken care of even if it means tha the Casinos have to pay for the Gaming Control Board, etc. Besides, how does getting Krolicki improve anything? Better to keep lame duck Jim and have a fresh start in 2 years than to get stuck with "I should already have been indicted" Krolicki for 6 years.

At the rate we are going with these public officials, Governor Masto should be in office by December.

Another crappy politician who combines his lying for both the public and the poor union workers who are getting taken for a ride so he can have two salaries and many "campaign contributions". The union guys pay for these jerks to do something and it doesn't happen because they are all getting money for the developers. How many more are people are injured at these sites? Also why not mention that their were 2 more deaths at Cosmopolitan? Or mention how the fire department who should have been concerned about the deaths but whose spokesperson would go on TV after every death saying that it was nothing to worry about without revealing that Perini/MGM is building the Fire Dept a new Firehouse on the City Center Property in exchange for better "inspections" and obviously to give them slack on the project. We should all feel sad that these hard working men and women are being ripped off all the way around.

You are without a doubt, the only true reporter in this entire city. You deserve a Pulitzer for your reporting. I just hope that you are put on some other stories of corruption in this City.

Ask Spoor and Cherry where the assets are. After all, they want that Rolodex with his address in it for a reason.

Las Vegas Sun reporter Alexandra Berzon is without a doubt the best reporter in this state. She was EXTREMELY impressive with the job she did on the OSHA stories which were honest and real and brought about change. Clearly she is knowledgeable and fantastic, honest and tough. Her investigation was nothing short of brilliant and called out ALL of the players in the OSHA situation for their lack of concern for the working person. I, for one, was fascinated at what can happen when a newspaper in this town actually investigates and reports the news without concern for their relationships with the players. CONGRATULATIONS to the Sun for being the first to make that happen in my 25 years in this town.

Now, what needs to happen is that Ms. Berzon is allowed to investigate the happenings in our justice system with the same fervor and without regard for what oxes that she needs to gore.

Thanks for reporting on this shocking anointment process. We never have this kind of back door donation to campaign managers and people we know. It is unbelieveable that such a thing would happen in Clark County government. NOT. Thanks Jon for providing us with this illuminating 17 minutes of disgust.

If retiring Republican Chip Maxfield wants to stay in tight with Republic Services, then HE should pay the tab and leave us ratepayers alone. We have a contract and if Maxfield does not agree with it, he can pay Republic's share.
