Jim Williams says "I've done plays with one person in the audience." Indeed he has. The time was 1965, the place was Hawthorne, Calif, the play was "The Rainmaker," and I was the one person in the audience. I told the theater manager they didn't have to go thru all that just for me. She said they were doing the show even if no one was in the audience, so I sat back down and saw a damn good show.
